General Life Coachery
This work is not for the faint of heart. It will challenge you to look at your life, the stories you’ve been telling yourself and the ways you’ve been holding yourself back. Life Coaching is an investment in yourself, your well being, and the sexy, spectacular life that you know in your gut that you deserve.
Maybe you’re looking to Level Up in your life but communication isn't your primary focus at the moment.
I got you.
My approach to Life Coaching is based on a simple fact; adult life can be a real drag sometimes, and you shouldn’t have to go it alone.
It’s hard to find your way. It’s challenging to manage the highs and lows of life, set (and keep) the balance between work and play, or rally yourself out of your comfort zone. Sometimes you can look around and feel like everyone has it all figured out except you. The secret is that no one really does, we’re all just faking it ‘til we make it. But wouldn’t it be easier to face life's fears with someone in your corner? Someone to guide you in setting authentic goals and hold you accountable when things (inevitably) get in the way? Someone to cheer you on, celebrate your victories, and help you recover from setbacks? Someone to inspire and encourage you into a Maximum Version of yourself? - I can be that person.
Let’s seek out Maximum You. Together.
Try out that hobby you’ve always wanted.
Quit that job that’s draining you and find one that lights you up.
Ask out that person.
Make that new friend.
Finally, create and live a life you’re proud of.
Life Coach vs. Therapy
Therapy is wonderful. It is a critical part of life's healing process and is always a good idea. Life Coaching, while also supremely valuable and effective, is a different service to yourself.
Therapy is looking into your past to inform and understand where you are now.
Coaching is acknowledging where you are now as a jumping-off point to where you are going.
Therapy should be utilized to respond to trauma, mental illness, deep grief, abuse, and many other life challenges. Coaching as a practice is not designed or qualified to address or heal those wounds. If you are currently working through one of those or a comparable challenge, Coaching may not be for you at this time.
